The Medical Corner is offering its own plan to help Hawaii save money on healthcare, EASY Care. This plan offers folks with no insurance a discount plan that they can trust will be there for them.

This is not insurance, but is a way to guarantee savings at the time of payment for each visit. The plan offers a yearly ($200) or monthly ($20) payment option. Available to you after a one time $200 fee or 12 consecutive monthly payments is an annual wellness physical – a value of $250.

Immediate savings of $40 is realized by paying $200 at one time. In addition to paying for itself with the annual physical alone, you receive immediate savings on many of our other services as well.

Our Easy Care Family Plan (parents and kids under 18) is only $50 per month per family per year or a one time $500 instant payment. An annual physical exam is free for 2 parents and each School or sports physical is $45 – no limit. After age 18, each ‘child’ needs their own plan.

We provide many common medications, for less than $20 ( that is less than some insurance co-pays!) and you can get the drugs you need at the time of your visit. We also offer FREE samples of asthma, diabetes and high cholesterol meds when available … even Viagra!

Many people are paying close to $800 per month for family insurance plans and costs are continually rising.

This program is not intended to replace your insurance but rather to complement those with high deductibles, flexible spending plans, health savings accounts or assist those with no insurance at all. By paying the entire year’s membership using the instant plan you are guaranteed to lock in our low price.

Many folks with no insurance have a problem of even finding a doctor who will see them. Other doctors often charge $150 or more for first time visits for those who have no insurance. They will try to “balance their billing by “making up the discount they offer insurers by charging the uninsured the full price.

At The Medical Corner we have always taken the approach of offering the same discount to our patients regardless of their insurance status. We think it is more important to have a regular doctor who knows and takes care of you, no matter what insurance you have.
